At least 118 houses were damaged by a whirlwind which hit Indonesia's Jambi province from 04:45 p.m. to 06:00 p.m. local time on Monday.
The damaged houses were located in different villages and subdistricts in the province, Antara news agency on Tuesday quoted Jambi Mayor Arifien Nanap as saying.
No casualties were reported, while material loss may reach hundreds of millions of rupiah.
Over the week-end, at least 200 houses in Madiun district of the province were also reportedly damaged by a whirlwind, including two were practically flattened by the strong wind.
Besides damaging the houses, the whirlwind also uprooted some trees, blocking traffic in some roads.
