Man dies as hurricane hits Alps
A 48-year-old Liverpool businessman has died in an accident in Austria caused by winds from Hurricane Emma.
He died on Saturday when rocks crushed the taxi in which he and his family were travelling.
The family were on their way to a skiing holiday hotel at Soll in the Tyrol when 150mph winds caused snow and boulders to crash through trees.
A Foreign Office spokesman said the family of the unnamed man was being offered consular support.
