Homes and schools have been flooded after freak thunderstorms hit Cornwall.
Torrential downpours scrambled fire crews from Camborne, Redruth and Helston through the night on Tuesday.
Schools are shut, more than 100 homes are without power and a flood warning is still in place.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "The Fire Service have been extremely busy dealing with numerous 999 calls in the west of the County.
"Crews from Camborne, Redruth, Helston and the surrounding areas have been assisting property owners that have been severely flooded."
A flood warning is out for the stream at Portreath, because of rising river levels.
Alerts have been issued for the West Cornwall Rivers from Land's End to Perranporth.
A spokesperson from the Environment Agency said: "A heavy, localised thunderstorm has passed over the Portreath area and the river is rising very rapidly. The thunderstorm has now passed and the river is expected to rise further. The Environment Agency is in attendance assessing the assets in the area. We will update you if the situation changes."
A supermarket was forced to close as well.

Schools are badly affected and two are closed on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Redruth School said: "Redruth school will be closed to all students on Wednesday 14th September due to unprecedented weather conditions on Tuesday night resulting in some flooding. The school will assess the situation and hope to open as normal on Thursday."
A spokesperson for Trewirgie Juniors said: "Massive flooding throughout the school, closed for rest of week to children."
The infants' school will be open as usual on Wednesday.
Drivers are being urged to take extra care after the rain turned roads from St Ives to Falmouth into rivers.
Fire-fighters had to pump out water in Falmouth, to stop nearby homes from flooding.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "One appliance from Falmouth Fire Station assisted with flooding in the street which was threatening to enter nearby properties. They used one pump to avert the water and requested attendance of the Police and Highways."

In Trispen near Truro, there were reports a chimney had been struck by lightning.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service added: "At 1500hrs a call was received from the owner of the property stating his chimney had been struck by lightning. Two appliances from Truro one from Newquay Fire Stations and a Flexi Duty Officer were mobilised.
"On investigation there was no sign of fire and crews used a triple extension ladder and a thermal image camera to check the property and the next door property. All was safe and the crew left the scene to continue their normal duties."
