Zware buien en tornado's voor het midden van de USA
De eerste week van de zomer komt tot een stormachtig einde op de Plains. Er wordt noodweer verwacht in een langerekt gebied van Texas tot ver in het zuiden van Canada. De zware tot zeer zware onweersbuien brengen destructieve wind(stoten) grote hagelstenen en zelfs tornado's voort. Deze buien zijn gevaarlijker dan degene van eerder deze week. De buien, die in de loop van de middag en avond ontstaan, kunnen van grote invloed zijn op het verkeer. De windstoten zijn krachtig genoeg om vrachtwagens van hun wielen af te blazen. Ook in het weekeind gaan er buien ontstaan en dan metname in de regio Minnesota en Iowa. Op zondag worden werderom dezelfde gebieden getroffen door zware buien. Steden binnen de gevarenzone zijn onder andere: Minneapolis, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, en Fargo, North Dakota.

U.S. National Weather Service heeft 2 nieuwe foto's toegevoegd.A slow moving weather system will bring a chance of severe thunderstorms to parts of the Plains and Midwest this weekend. The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms from Oklahoma to Minnesota on Saturday and from the central Plains to Upper Midwest on Sunday. Damaging wind, large hail and flooding rain will be the primary threats.
