Six people have been killed in flash floods and landslides in Indonesia, the country's Antara news agency said on Thursday. Four people were killed in floods in East Java's Bojonegoro district and two were killed when a landslide triggered by monsoon rains buried a house in central Sulawesi, the agency said, citing local officials.
In addition, eight houses were buried under another landslide in central Sulawesi, but no casualties have been reported so far. The rainy season in the country peaks between December and February.
